Help Us – Help Lala

Lala is a retired show dog, placed by Couches For Afghans into a home life in 2014. She has been doing great in her new home.

On Dec 7, 2016 she suffered a herniated disc (c4 / c5) in her neck .  She underwent a Ventral Slot Surgery with some of the best neurological surgeons in Colorado.  Prognosis for Cervical Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD) is usually very good, with 90% of the dogs being able to walk out of the vet hospitals.  She stood on her own the night after surgery, but Lala has fallen into the 10% 😦

She will need continued Physical Therapy, acupuncture, reiki to help her recover. She is such a sweet, happy girl and always wagging her tail for any attention.
